IVVENTA IMPERII Caracalla, in military attire, standing front, head to left, holding Victory on globe in his right hand and inverted spear in his left; at feet to left, Parthian captive seated left in attitude of mourning; to far left, quiver. BMC 115. Cohen 115. RIC 20. Rare. The obverse a bit weak, otherwise, good very fine.

From the Joseph Markowitz Collection (1897-1981), brought to Israel in 1949 and kept in the family ever since.
